When I play a custom scenario that has many enemies, the game sometimes freezes right after all the cards have been dealt and it would normally be my turn. My game froze just now when I was doing the Call the Exterminator custom scenario. Above is the picture of the frozen screen. Same thing happened a couple of times when I was testing Ogre Mind Control Facility. It is pretty clear that this has to do with number of enemies and/or cards because this has never happened when there are only a few enemies on the board. It has also never happened outside custom scenarios. Also my game slows down slightly every single time when large amounts of cards are being dealt. This further suggests that the freezing is cause by the game slowing down so much that it finally stops completely. When the game freezes, I have to refresh the browser and log in again. I can click buttons like "Resign Game" but nothing happens when I do. I'm using Chrome, version 31.0.1650.57 m. I'm not sure if the problem is the game, Flash, or my own system. Just thought I'd let you guys know so maybe it could be fixed and I could get rid of those damn zombies FEEDBACK PART As a fix I was wondering if it was possible to limit the number of cards a single group of monsters can draw per round regardless of group size? For example in the situation above, the freezing could have been caused by those Muscular Zombies drawing 9 cards. If the limit was say, 6 cards, freezing like this could possibly be avoided without having to cut down the total number of zombies. Having tons of enemies lets us have those epic battles where you are surrounded and totally outnumbered. I'd rather have more enemies with less cards, then have to cut down the amount of enemies so the game don't crash. It would fit thematically as well because large groups can get disorganized and function less efficiently than smaller groups, hence less cards at their disposal.
This happened to me when playing Die Hard!; I had used a contagious accelerated thought and the game choked after that had triggered and the goblins had drawn their cards but before my team had drawn its cards for the turn. I don't think it's just you, and I agree that it seems to be related to # of cards drawn (which itself is a function of # of enemies). edit: p.s. worth noting that this is not a guaranteed failure, as I have completed Die Hard!, Ogre Mind Control Facility, and Call the Exterminator many times.
I don't know if this helps but based on my experiences this bug only happens when a group of characters draw a lot for cards. I've been testing the Siege like there is no tomorrow, and although the scenario has a total of 38 creatures and tons of decals, the game hasn't frozen once. I assume that the problem is not lots of characters on the map. I think the problem is lots of cards drawn by a single group of creatures during one round, like Muscular Zombies in that screenshot up there.
