    Venterr, Azulkhrum and priest2 are my party chars. Firestorm initiated by Azulkhrum with Hot Flames trait attached. All 3 holding Barbed Platemail in hand during attachment phase.

    Bug 1: Venterr's platemail triggered before the hot flames added penetrating.
    Bug 2: Azulkhru's cloth armor triggered from firestorm but did not trigger hot flames thereafter.
    Bug 3: priest 2's platemail did not trigger at all.

    I was expecting none of the armors to trigger as per hot flames desc.

    same test as above: armors in hand for allied party, firestorm by Azulkhrum who has hot flames attached and then instant burn on enemy.

    Armor is definitely activating for chars before the owner of hot flames procs. Consistent and reproducible.

    Azulkhrum scorches Giggles with instant burn
    Giggles took 1 Fire damage.
    Mad Dog damaged Giggles.
    Azulkhrum spikes her attacker.
    Azulkhrum took 6 Slashing damage.
    Snicka took 4 Slashing damage.
    Snicka died.
    phaselock scored 1 point.
    Chortal took 4 Slashing damage.

    Lockdown Blessing vs Whirlwind

    My party had lockdown blessing attached but whirlwind from the Hyper Thalamus mob placed all chars in a new spot anyways. Ditto for teleport other. Consistent and reproducible. Immovable worked fine tho.

    Triple Heals

    Triple Heals has the May Target Self keyword but is not self targetable. If there are no allies in LOS, 'There are no valid targets.' Ctrl-Clicking also does not allow self selection.

    Impetuous Heal does not trigger Talented Healer. Card says Heal 6, no heal keyword tho. Given usual gen pop trend, should it be keyworded ?

    Adventure balance & feedback: I beat Beneath Tcotzak with an equally subpar and underlevelled team that I did the first adventure- so I'm fine with the difficulty there. Crystals of Chronak was a bit harder and almost required a replay, but I made it through with my level 7's. It's been great fun seeing new enemies, they really feel different - in general. The Tongue-fiend was an awesome bosstype creature, with some disgusting abilities.

    a) Elven Maneuvers still triggered upon death alto there was no card drawn, aka similar to Boosted Heal.

    b) Mystical Wyrmhide, Mystical Drakehide do not perform armor reduction like Arrogant Armor does but are classified as armors instead of boosts. Whereas Arrogant Armor is hybrid armor + boost. Wai ?

    c) Sparkling Cloth Armor is a pure armor card but it has two triggers. Quickness Aura is similar but classified as hybrid armor + boost. SCA regraded to hybrid armor + boost as well ?

    d) Bug: SCA triggers upon allied damage.

    Azulkhrum zaps Venterr
    Sparkling Cloth Armor reduced damage to Venterr by 1.
    Venterr took 2 Arcane damage.
    Venterr moved.

    Venterr had Elven Maneuvers attached as well. EM did not trigger tho.

    It's not a bug that Sparkling Cloth Armor triggers upon allied damage. It might be too strong, but it's not a bug—as written, it should.

    Agreed it should be hybrid boost, and that the Wyrm and Drakehide cards should be boosts. The only reason I can think of them being armors right now is so that they can be dissolved/melted/boiled...

    One thing worth mentioning, normally when a card 'triggers' (e.g. blocks, armor, "Beginning of turn" traits like Slippery or Dimensional Traveler, burning cards, Arrogant Armor, etc.......) the card "comes up" front and center. Sparkling Cloth Armor does not do this—you just get the move without any visual indication of where it's coming from.

    iirc, all damage triggers on cards are now from enemy damage only.

    Yes, this is a visual bug.

    That might be a good design guideline but it is clearly not how the cards are worded.

    Martyr's Blessing works that way. Inspiring Armor works that way.

    But if you compare their text to the text of Sparkling Cloth Armor and Elven Maneuvers, you'll see that the latter two do not explicitly state that the damage must come from an enemy-controlled card. So while this may well be an oversight, a flawed design, an inconsistency, or whatever, it does not appear to be a bug.

    The "Leagues Completed!" bug that occurs when your renown goes up also happens if your renown increases in the Multiplayer Lobby.

    Unless Jon/dev informs otherwise, my interpretation of card text with regard to damage triggers as enemy sourced damage only and anything else as a bug.

    But... it's not a matter of interpretation, is it? Existing cards explicitly say "enemy only." New cards don't. It's not a bug for the new cards to do exactly what it says on the card :)

    Apologies for the confusion...I'm not flagging bugs simply based on the card text. I flagged SCA because it says 'When you take damage, you Move 3. ' is an abusable bug when used in combination with allied damage cards, ie, Winds of War, Force cards, bashes etc. In this regard, when I tested in combination with Elven Manuever, EM did not trigger to give me extra move which would have made a Force Cannon, SCA + EM combo potentially fire off a 7 square move with a cantrip as a worst case scenario. Since EM did not trigger given identical 'When you take damage' description, I can only infer that SCA proccing on allied damage is an abusable bug.

    I get what you're saying. I would just assume that EM not triggering IS a bug since the functionality is different from the rules text. Whereas SCA does exactly what it says—even if it seems abusable :)

    I'd say we'd have to expect the cards to work as worded, as Flaxative suggests. If they don't match their description - it's a bug, if they don't work well, or are exploitable - it's a balance issue. I don't see the devs stating that they never intend to release cards that trigger on all damage, just because they nerfed some cards related to drawing engines.

    If bugs were flagged based on card text, then triple heals should self target despite twin heals not having the self-target keyword? I don't think so... sigh, maybe its just me testing for too long and getting sensitive to the little typos and whatnot. Shrugs...let's not de-rail this thread due to semantics, leave it up to the devs to decide. :)

    Jumpspark is activating for targets within 3 squares of another, ie, just like Arcing Spark. Card text says 2 squares tho.

    Agreed. Let's reserve this thread for cards that don't work as written (and spelling errors and stuff), and use this thread if you don't like how it's written.

    Right now Sparkling Cloth Armor is expected to trigger from allied damage. The main reason we changed the other cards to only trigger from enemy damage was to stop infinite card drawing combos. That seems unlikely with this card.

    Of course, if it proves to be unbalanced the way it is, we might consider changing it to enemy only to address that.

    I'm fairly certain that triggering on allied damage is going to prove too good—especially paired with Firestorm—but yeah, I'd like to see it tested before nerfing it.

    As for Elven Maneuvers, worth noting that if you have an Elf Warrior with that trait and a lot of step attacks in deck, and put your own Path of Knives on her, she'll be able to Nimble Strike almost endlessly. This is a very obvious combo that is of course not going to be easy to pull off, but preventing the potential may futureproof Elven Maneuvers against even more abuses down the road.
