    Murder Mystery at Batford Manor!

Lord Batford has been found mysteriously dead overnight by one of the estate guests! Can you gather all the clues and find out who did the dirty deed?

    [IMG][IMG]

What could have been the murder weapon?

    Was it the candlestick?
    [IMG][IMG]

Could it have been the rope?
    [IMG][IMG]

    But what about the wrench?
    [IMG][IMG]

The revolver, were there enough bullets?
    [IMG][IMG]

    How about the lead pipe?
    [IMG][IMG]

And finally, what about the dagger?
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Perhaps the clues left at the scene provide a hint as to who did it?

How about the elderly maid's apron, how much has she swept under the rug all these years?
    [IMG][IMG]

What about the colonel's badge of honour, was this another case of 'accidental' friendly fire?
    [IMG][IMG]

How about the professor's secret formula, just how far would he go to keep it secret?
    [IMG][IMG]

What about the widower's feathered hat, does it belong to a black widow?
    [IMG][IMG]

How about the good reverend's bible, how much has his faith wavered?
    [IMG][IMG]

What about the femme fatale's eyeliner, said to be irresistible to any man?
    [IMG][IMG]

Now is the time for you to make your accusation!

That's good and all. But what's with all those cards? Your opponents get those, too. Not only they draw them, they also want to use them! Now that's unfair. For that, they should be punished. Fortunately...

The "damned if you do, damned if you don't" was similar to an idea I had a while ago. It is a neat card but has a ton of variance in power.

Hey guys, just a couple of cards at the moment, and I'm hoping for a little help to turn them into coherent items:

    Newton's Charge
    Move 5
Move in a straight line. At the end of the move, if there is a character in the next square, do 1 crushing melee damage and Slide Back a number of squares equal to the move. If characters block progress, do 1 point damage and slide each character back the remaining number of squares, sequentially. If terrain blocks progress, do 2 points damage for each slide square negated.

(Note: I considered including mass equivalences to movement, but that would never have fit into the text block, and elves could have been knocked into the upper deck.)

    Red Shirt
    Negative Trait
Create Barbed Platemail, Enchanted Harness, and Traveling Curse cards in your hand.
(Flavor text) Boldly Going... Going... Gone.
(Note: If you roll a 1 early, you might not die.)

    Card values not determined.
Why, yes, I have been drinking. Ergo, my request for assistance regarding coherence. I hope my friends will be more cooperative than my insomnia.
    Good Hunting!

    Ice Slick
Attack, Cold Magic, Range 6, Duration 1
    Affected square becomes Icy Terrain.
(Stop. At the start of each round, attach a Trip to the occupant).

    Kick of Might and Magic
Attack, Crushing Melee, Range 1, Damage 0
Push 4. You can push the target into impassable terrain. If the target is pushed into impassable terrain, kill that target.

Since the current AA is closed, here's some ideas that didn't make the cut.

    Cloak and Dagger
    Assist
Create a Cloth Armor and Penetrating Cut and put them in your hand.

    Coup de Grace
Attack, Piercing Melee, Range 1, Damage 15
This card can only target characters that are below full health. This card can only target characters adjacent to blocking terrain.

    Adrenaline
    Boost
If you are below half health, Armor 2, Frenzy 2. Keep.

    Lightningrod
    Handicap
Trait. Attach to self. Duration 2. When a character is targeted by an Electric card, that card also affects you.

    Blind Faith
    Assist, Magic Holy
Draw a card. Discard that card unless it is an Assist card. Repeat until you have drawn two Assist cards or your deck is empty. Attach this card to yourself. Stun. Duration 1.

    True Sight
    Boost
Trait. Attach to self. Duration 2. Your line of sight is unimpeded by blocked terrain and terrain attachments.

    Ace up the Sleeve
    Boost
Trait. Attach to self. Duration 1. At the start of the round, if your hand is empty, draw a card.

    Obliterating Zap
    Attack, Magic Arcane
    Range 2. Damage 15.

My first thought for this picture:
    Fallout
    Attack, Magic Radiation
All unoccupied squares become Irradiated terrain (at the start of each round do 2 Radiation damage and attach a random Handicap card to each character within 1 square). Duration 3
    - What does this button do?

Ah, I didn't read your second post on the subject.
The only clear squares would be blocked or impassible terrain, and those occupied by characters. I wanted it ugly by design in order to match the picture.

    Some more bad ideas.

    Versatile Suit
    Armor
When adjacent to blocking terrain, this is Mystical Wyrmhide. When not adjacent to blocking terrain, this is Reliable Mail.

    Paranoid Parry
    Block
3+. Block any, even if the card was played by an ally, affecting you or an ally within 3 squares. You draw a card.

    Follow Whim
    Assist
Create a random Mandatory Action card and place it in your hand.
"And you thought it was bad when we knew Walpurgis Night was coming?"

    Gibbering-Mad Dodge
    Move-Boost
When targeted by an attack from the front, move 1 randomly, Teleport, and if you end this move adjacent to an enemy, discard a card randomly, and if you do, draw a card and the attacker takes 2 melee crushing damage. Keep.

    Obliterating Shuffle
    Move
Starting square becomes lava terrain. Place each adjacent enemy at the end of this move on a random square within two squares. Set facing randomly.
