After all the card suite changes, Greenfang party decks don't match in-game cards

The issue in the subject line is most obvious with the shift from Fireball to Ember Burst: in the Greenfang tutorial, the fight is programmed to give you Fireball in your first draw, but in the subsequent deckbuilder you have only Ember Burst in that character's items.

Obviously this doesn't impact gameplay, but could confuse thorough players.

And I just got the first bug report in the launch version of Card Hunter.

Edit: In addition, The Goldleaf Blade might vanish off of your character sheet when you get to the final deckbuilder after beating Greenfang.

I don't think you're supposed to keep the Goldleaf blade. You're playing with Melvin's Deck.

Yeah Zoorland reported that on the test server before launch (so sorry SK). Fireball is hardcoded into the scenario as monster decks, but ember burst is part of the "fake deck". They probably forgot to change it, or it will be changed next patch.

Heh. Out of those two things, I thought it was the "vanishing Goldleaf" that had been reported before, not the other way around. So . . . do I still totally get "first bug report" for reporting the missing sword? Or maybe for noticing a visual tile error?

And pliers, I tried to be clear this was in the final tutorial deckbuilder after beating Greenfang--the one where it's still relevant to talk about the character sheet in question. Not your subsequent building-characters-up-from-level-1-and-start-with-only-a-Warrior character sheet, because of course you don't have the couple dozen items from Greenfang there.

Ah, so something similar is probably how my warrior ended up drawing these cards in Tunnels into Darkness:

I guess the game isn't smart enough to notice I filled that party slot early using starter deck chars.

    That is a wonderful sight.

Psst. Sir Knight. You could also report Attack Skill, which the warrior draws in the second battle of the intro against Greenfang himself. That card's no longer among his item suite either, and I hear that lazy louse Zoorland never mentioned that one on the test forum discussion... ;)

By the way! I would like to report that Attack Skill, which the Warrior draws in the second battle of the Greenfang intro, is no longer among the card suites either!

Actually, the cards shown on the character sheets have almost nothing in common with the (six!) decks used in the battles. I'll be making a much longer post about that later, but for now I'll leave you with this lovely image:

...well, I'll be looking forward to whatever that lovely image of the priest's fake item build is alluding to.

Obviously the battles (specifically the cards you draw) in the Greenfang intro are strictly scripted, not randomly generated and certainly not actually from any supposed items they may be carrying, but I thought I had accounted for all the other cards you see within the first two rounds of either fight. If it takes you longer than that to win either battle, then... :/

The image is just to show that the priest and wizard character sheets have the race/class skills in the wrong order (the warrior sheet has them correctly).

So... these are the character sheets shown between the battles:

    Borgo Stoneheart
    Level 20 Dwarf Warrior

    1 x Slicer
    1 x Fright
    1 x Wild Run
    3 x Hardy Mail
    1 x Sprint
    1 x Parry
    1 x Toughness
    2 x Chop
    1 x Impaler
    3 x Block
    1 x Wimpy
    1 x Charge
    3 x Weak Chop
    1 x Mail

    Father Ordos
    Level 20 Human Priest

    1 x Bash
    2 x Altruism
    1 x Purge
    4 x Bludgeon
    1 x Minor Heal
    3 x Block
    6 x Heal

    Idris of the Haunting Horn
    Level 20 Elf Wizard

    1 x Jump Back
    2 x Brain Burn
    2 x Fire Spray
    1 x Vulnerable
    1 x Squeamish
    3 x Run
    2 x Hover

But the actual decks used in the first battle are:

    Greenfang Warrior (Borgo Stoneheart)
    6x Chop
    5x Parry

    Greenfang Priest (Father Ordos)
    5x Bludgeon
    4x Heal
    3x Team Heal

Greenfang Wizard (Idris of the Haunting Horn)
    6x Fireball

Equipping The Goldleaf Blade changed all the decks to these:

    Greenfang Warrior 2 (Borgo Stoneheart)
    2x Charge
    3x Chop
    3x Parry
    1x Run

    Greenfang Priest 2 (Father Ordos)
    4x Team Heal

Greenfang Wizard 2 (Idris of the Haunting Horn)

(Normally I would check all links before posting, but not for this one.)

In addition to Greenfang, I found out that Multiplayer Gary AI has access to Fireball.

    Sir-ulean Dragon. Well placed title.

Btw Teleport Other is another card the wizard has access to during the Greenfang fight.
