In the last two day, all the epic gear I got was epic boots... Got 4 different epic boots and not any other kind of gear , doing only the first two golden chest of MP. Are the rng gremlins in action or are the devs involved someway ? It seems very very strange...
All but 4 of my Legendary items are Divine items. The ones that aren't are a shield, boots, an arcane item and a staff. The other 10 or so are Divine. Random indeed.
I have 3 Staff Of The Misanthrope but no Vampire's Blade. It's time to NERDRAGE RAGE I SAY. Randomness inherently has groupings. In fact the "equality" we associate with randomness isn't random at all.
I actually really like Flash Of Pain but not as the only item on a staff... Though most non-token staves suck.
I like it, too. I love role-playing in my head when I play so I imagine my wizard saying "Take cover guys, this is gonna hurt." So they run out of line of sight, and my wizard blasts everything on the board for 3. I've yet to get it to pair with Arcane Aura, but I'm looking forward to it.
It's stellar on maps with goblins or kobolds to just remove every block. It's not as powerful as Firestorm but it also doesn't self-target, which is particularly useful with Arcane Aura.
