This game is ridiculous. There's no reason for it to be this hard

Found the permission to use multiple game accounts when not cross-exploiting them. After all, there's always the chance you'll end up paying real money for two or more accounts when Frukost's Multieffective Machine Gun shows up on your second account.

Hey OP, you should save a bit of your rage for the next adventures.
Especially Return to the Astral Shrine will make your socks smoke.

Maybe you can tell us what kind of team do you play, that might help us to help you.
And are you willing to replay adventures or is that out of the question?

Yes, I can confirm this is correct - I myself had misstankenly taken it to be ingame accounts before getting corrected.

    Step 1- Make multiple accounts.
Step 2-Play until one of them gets a VP
    Step 3-Profit?

In all seriousness, it would be nice to play a new account and have some of my many duplicate useless items magically transform into Cudgel Of Murderizing +1 and Dark Flaming Lonsgword Of Light, but the thing about Card Hunter is that you want to collect as many items as possible. So playing multiple accounts is going to be quite ineffective methinks.

    1) Sorry to hear that you're having a not-so-optimal experience. However, we've got a forum dedicated to helping you figure out a winning strategy for each map/scenario! Filled with helpful forum members who've gone through the very same same modules, scenarios, and frustrations. I highly recommend you use that to your advantage :)

    2) Multiple game accounts is a tricky widget so I'm going to go ahead and say "Probably not a great idea" but unless someone starts to abuse it, I won't actively look into it. And Jade303 is pretty right in that, since you can't transfer items between accounts, having many is inefficient anyway.

I see any easy way to abuse the League system by filling an entire pod with alts, but other than that it's not very useful abusable.

Good point. Up until now there's been no real reason to avoid alts, since it was too hard to match up in ranked pvp et c - an official non-alt policy would be good to announce when releasing the new content.

Some missions are pretty brutal roadblocks and frustrating enough to end a playing session on their own, but they're now the exception because the overall difficulty has been adjusted noticeably from the beta version.
During the beta almost every mission was such a roadblock and I had to frequently diverge to farming older missions or PvP to get gear/xp to stand a chance.
Now I could just go through the game one adventure at a time, all in the right order, without any farming (and of course with only the 150 free pizza) and it was a lot more fun because of that.

You should be able to get through most missions (except those handful of roadblocks) within 1-3 tries each even with an all-purpose deck. Specialized decks are sometimes helpful, but never required. And neither is grinding levels/gear or spending RL money.

I can see this if you've been through beta and know the game, or have played other similar games. For real noobs, it's tough. I now farm adventures that used to kick my butt, so learning the game means a lot. Probably a bigger factor than gear.

This is the real answer to most of these "this game is way too hard!" posts, but people in general don't want to hear it. They'll blame luck, mostly - it's a lot easier to shift blame than to rise to the challenge, and with luck being present in so many forms on the battlefield it's an easy target. There's the luck of drops, your draws, enemy's draws and armor/block rolls and if you aren't a veteran of these sort of games there can be an illusion that you could win if you'd just be more lucky. Veterans build their decks and choose their tactics to minimize reliance to luck, always expecting the worst and making the best out of whatever hand they are dealt with.

I agree that there is a lot that need to be cleaned up with the game's difficulty curve. The most problematic thing is that people have no idea what they are facing before the adventure and what to build. There are many "rock-paper-scissor" issues with single player that it really can be bad until you've played it and lost. For example, you don't know that blobs won't be hit by crushing attacks until after you play it and lose... there needs to be some way to know "DO NOT USE CRUSHING WEAPONS" before you first play.

And then you will have a lot of fun in the first part of the Vicious Tombs.
If you fail, there is a tip. If you are not willing to adjust your deck, playstyle or characters, you are wrong here.

If the bar would be so low that you can sleepwalk through the adventures, there would be no replay value.
I also hit the the common walls, especially Return to the Astral Shrine was horrible, but after you won you have a real feeling of accomplishment and if you manage the the 1hp quest of it you can feel a little bit special.
A greatly reduces diffĂculty would just cut out a lot of fun out of the game.

I'd say the game is more geared towards being a "learning by doing"-experience , than a reading comprehension test.

Good thing for us guys who don't read, 'eh Jarmo? :)
The Wiki is there for those who will use it. I wish it had interim data for the new release.

Banging your head against the wall can be instructive if your skull can take the punishment. Some wear and tear is just to be expected.

I've posted a full set of screenshots for the first dungeon here:

The rest are waiting until I figure out how to set up that stupid sandbox account. I could try to put together the monster decks from that first adventure...
