I have a dwarf warrior, a human mage and an elf priest.

Ok so I tried a team with the current restrictions:
-all level 19 (used one less token, couldn't remove one HP but it wouldnd't have changed anything anyway)
-Dwarf Warrior, Human Mage, Elf Priest
-No Epic or Legendary so that the build is easily reproducible

I could clear the Troll adventure with the following team and only one retry has been used:

    20dw
    Level 20 Dwarf Warrior

    WizardTheLizard
    Level 21 Human Wizard

    J.R.Blenda
    Level 21 Elf Priest

Notes: I didn' feel like the Winds of War were that useful but the walls of fire surely were (acted like wall of stones). If I have to try again, I'll change the arcane items for more fire stuff (walls and attacks) to help killing the trolls. Storges have Resistant Hide but even with it in hand, they don't come on Lava tiles.

    Hope this can help!

(and if you need gameplay videos, can't make before tomorow as the adventure is exhausted)

I have at last completed the adventure. I did not have many of the items mentioned but i tried a similar build that has the same cards. A few differences were as follows: the warrior had Opaline Hammer for some bashes and the wizard had Sub Zero Staff and Staff of Winter for the first two maps to keep the trolls in check and then i switched to more defensive items for the final two battles. The Nimbus was a great help on this adventure, because the AI is not very bright, but that is a very good thing on maps that are so difficult. The AI will waste his most precious attacks even though you are protected.
And another thing, I don't think that Aloyzo should make more weapons out of crystal in the future, because they break easily. He should find another hobby. Plus it was somebody else's crystal.
Thank you very much for the help, I will try to finish the next adventure by myself, even though it looks another laborious exercise in patience and humility, but we'll see how it turns out.

You know it is weird... my first crack at Black Plume Mountain was painful. Took like 20+ attempts to slay the dragon. Then when I went back to get the Loot Fairy I thought it was kinda easy. Part of it was having a decent strat to begin with and part of it was getting a second Staff of Chask was sweet. I killed the Dragon in like 5 rounds without losing any of my characters.
