im so sick of the posts about nerf this nerf that im not getting legendaries from randimars farming takes to long its a game not everything is equal play and have fun or just give every card to every player then it will be equal

Guess what? Nobody even suggests to make everything equal here :) Are the legendaries equal?

Would it detract so much from the game if in addition to Random-ar's we also had a class act establishment (Let's call it Lizard's Luxurious Legendarium) that sold all legendaries, all the time at stratospheric prices? Sometimes a player is OK playing what the dice tell them to play ("Wow, my fifth thirsty vial this week! Vampire elves it is!"), but sometimes a player really, really wants a particular item for a particular build (let's skip the obvious examples here and say something reasonable, like, Shield of Ultimate Dodging for a dodgy warrior build) and doesn't mind plunking down 10k+ gold for a key build item. People could be limited to one item from the legendary store every month, to prevent relentless kobold farmers from gaining too much of an upper hand over weekend warriors. And gold bought with pizza could be ineligible to be spent there, to hush cries of p2w.

Card Hunter is meant to be about hunting cards (really, items with cards on them), but there is not remotely any way to actually hunt down an item you covet. Either you get lucky in Randimars, get very lucky in an appropriately-leveled Fairy chest, or get stratospherically win-the-lottery lucky turbofarming an appropriately-leveled Scenario 1 somewhere. That's it. Right now you're stuck just doing your dailies and thanking the RNG gods for whatever they toss your way. I don't see how it breaks either balance or the hamster wheel by letting players save up to buy exactly what they want to buy, at a massive premium every once in a lunar cycle or two. And if that means everyone saves up a zillion gold and buys a Vibrant Pain the day that build goes live, that's fine by me - if devs haven't heard yet about our stale meta for some reason, they'll be hearing all about it roughly twenty minutes after that occurs. Which is a good thing (What's not good? The deleterious effect of balance-destroying items and cards getting covered up by a veil of scarcity, that's what).

Another idea: People have tossed around the idea of paying Randy to restock his store prematurely. Instead of a gold cost, how about we let players 'turn in' their trash epics or legendaries to reroll the store? Something like a 'gift' of 2 legendaries or 10 epics will motivate Randimar to get off his cheap ass and go find a new load of amazing steals for us to roll our eyes at. A trade-in system would, again, be less abusable by kobold farmers and credit card hunters alike (no offense intended to either). And perhaps Randimar wouldn't accept more than 1 copy of a given item per week, again to limit the advantage that people turbofarming a single map might gain.

All this is compatible with de-randomizing Randy's stock to some degree or other, which is a move I'd support muchly. I'd be fine with a set number of legendaries, epics, and rares each week, every week.

    Good shop name! ;)
It's been said that gold has no provenance, and I think that's the case here. How would the program differentiate? It's probably possible, but it would be loads of work.
Remotely? The methods you describe seem remote to me.
The real key is the coveting. If players could get any item they wanted, I think most would lose interest pretty quickly. If players believe they can't get the items they really want, I think most will give up eventually.
The devs set up all the ways to get items (except a few guaranteed campaign drops) to operate randomly. This means there is always a chance, even if it is remote. You can get the item because other players used the same system to get theirs. It may be that the chances need to be tweaked slightly to improve the odds if too many players are feeling really exasperated.
I think "buy any legendary item once per month at a premium price" is too generous.
My counterproposal is that each player (account) might buy at a premium price (10k, 25k, whatever): 1 Wizard item, 1 Warrior item, 1 Priest item, 1 pair of boots. All items would be available, but you can only do it once. After that, everything goes through the (spiteful, perverse, thrice-damned) RNG. Players could get some of what they covet, but still stay hungry for more.
If you look at the original "Restock Randimar's" suggestion, you'll see it isn't particularly abusable by anyone. I think trading in 2 legendary or 10 epic items would be way too cheap an option. (The sell value of either is only 200 gp.) The restock would make a decent gold dump, which we're sorely lacking. Odds are you'd just get another pile of junk. Still, there's that remote chance...
