With the end chest dropping loot like this, I think I might have gone into the wrong kind of Dungeon..

Wait... How did you get a level 1 item with a level 17 item dropping together while in a dungeon(which mean SP)? I thought that only happen in MP.

 

I can't answer that- I don't remember the circumstances around the chest now, nor have I noticed the theme you mentioned.
In fact, while loot does scale to level, I'm pretty sure I've seen the occasional off-level drop in single player..
But again, I don't know, it might have been a league guaranteed-end-chest [though I want to say it was a Loot Fairy set- also, I recall there being 4 items (the fourth was a common treasure item, so I didn't list it), not 5, ergo not likely a multiplayer chest].

I'll try and keep an eye out on my SP runs

Though, if I see a dwarf (it's always a dwarf) walking toward me with that ensemble, I'm going to make a quick exit, and you'll have to figure out the answers for yourself.

Can you imagine if that was an actual dwarf miniature? :shudder:

 

That's nothing. Obviously you haven't seen a dwarf with Aranak's Chain Web on yet. Fair warning, once seen, it cannot be unseen. I've got three of those in my inventory... I just try to forget about them.

Flails are what you use to keep gnomes off your lawn, not what dwarven pain-lords use to instill their sadism-fueled fear.

 

Unless they are masochist gnomes who keep stepping on your lawn. In that case, the flail works.

I figure hey, as long as the dwarves and the gnomes got a thing going and they respect their limits, flail away. Don't judge a gnome by their hat... or something...

Only in the Dragonlance setting, afaik.

Though, there's a lot in CH that isn't really explained in-campaign: Like why all the gnome stages have 'beat with elf mages only' quest objectives.
Do gnomes hate elves? Do elves hate gnomes? Are gnomes just real fun to make 'pop' with magic?

And, more importantly: If I get one of those pointy hats on one of my dwarves, will he turn into a gnome, or just get a damage bonus to piercing attacks?

The gnomes and the wizards are fighting over the right to wear pointy hats.

 

Oh god, please don't let there be an expansion with hats that gives buffs like that. Please not more hats.

That way, when I say hats off to you, it has twice the effect!

Of course, whenever someone typos that they hat me, it'll be even more confusing..

 

If you wear Oddjob's Hat that would be pretty dangerous. Or just about any hats that are on fire.

I don't think so. Why do we have wizards without pointy hats? Is one of the arcane items actually a hat mislabeled?
