In honor of the downtime, I present to you: Trollrage Universal Weapon Super Common Note the complete lack of synergy between the cards! It's apparently only a level 19 item.. :X
Coward Chicken's Choice / Weapon / Level 16.5 / Rare / A coward? I'm not a coward. Would a coward have THIS? ...or replace 1 cowardly with squeamish or fumble to make it little more viable and still keep it under the theme. The Frontstabber / Weapon / Level 6.5 / Common / Tokenless Backstab? I'm not the type of person who goes behind people's backs. This was my attempt at making an alternative for The Strongarm as a powerful tokenless weapon. As a bonus, it's common too! And yes... I'm aware that items don't have flavour texts but you know... who's to stop me!
It's a level 7 ((8+6+3+3+-3+-3)/2=7) item. I got this: 3x Backbiting Strike(-3), 3x Potent Stab (7). Level 6, common.
Surprised no one has suggested this: Qivril's Farming Implement /Arcane Item / Level 3 / Epic (I think) Pitchfork icon Some men just want to watch the world burn. I was going to do 3 firestorms, but that should be a major token IMHO. I know it's only level 9, but that would be awesome.
I'm confused. Bronze + bronze + black = 3 + 3 - 3 = 3 Divide by 1 for arcane items. Not sure how to get 1 from that.
Seems that we might need an exception for firestorm for SP vs. MP. A 3 firestorm arcane item would be incredibly powerful in SP.
So we get a staff with 2 Fiery Tempest, 2 Firestorm, and 2 combustible. Which is tokenless of course.
That would need to be a Diamond card (as in 1 step beyond Amethyst) with such a tremendous card advantage. BUT what would at least be reasonable is discard 2 cards to draw 3 FS; must have at least 2 cards in hand to play Fiery Tempest.
So how about the ultimate in card cycling? Demonic Vengeance (could be Staff, Divine or Weapon) 5 Demonic Revenge and 1 Traveling Curse In theory you could take 25 points of damage before you play a single (non-trait card) but get a deck of 6 less cards. Now that would be some tempting stuff... For no token. Alternative name Black Hole
I thought of this last night in my sleep. I literally designed this while sleeping... But now that I am awake the name, the logic, and what type of item this was going to be eludes me. I am pretty sure I was thinking/dreaming about it for wizards... despite it seeming to be a heavy armor. It is probably way to "cheesy" given that immovable and grounding plates are so good! But I liked the theme that you are so immovable that you cant move either given trip. But on a wizard trip does not really matter.... hmmm. I wish Trip did not draw a card... Maybe this...
I think it would make more sense thematically if you wanted to have it as a Robe to be Heavy Armor instead of the grounding plate. Call it Leaden Robe of Heaviness as a counterpoint to the Robe Of Lightness (which I have been using a bunch lately). The Armor 3 would still be stronger than a squishy wiz should be able to have, but I still think it would be a reasonable item, since it offers only 1 armor with a drawback. I would say that the Grounding Plates should NOT be available to wizards.
