Sprint, Team! specifies "Push 8" and ignores encumber, whereas Retreat specifies "Push 3" but does not ignore encumber.
Just tested it and Retreat does not ignore encumber for the one that used it, but it ignores encumber for other allies. I guess 'Push" only applies to allies, so Retreat works just as a free move for the one that used it.
Yeah, if it's "Push 3" even for the one who used, it should ignore. This might've gone into the Text Bugs thread. I'd prefer it keep the written rule, but BM might just rewrite the card instead to allow for this problem...
No, it's not a text bug. If it's Push for allies but a normal move for the character playing the card, then Retreat should be a Move/Assist hybrid.
I don't see how it's not a text bug. If the card requires a change in order for the text to become consistent with the function, then it's a text bug. Either the function or text (if not both) needs to change. I agree. That's all I mean.
