I am incredibly saddened by this. I grew up on those books, and even when they gave me nightmares with their overly detailed illustrations of all the horrible ways you can die (or worse, I can't understand how these books were approved for kids) I kept coming back to them.
Yeah, I read a ton of Lone Wolf books. They created some really intense memories and images in my mind. The power of imagination sure is great.
Man, that's kind of sad. My favorite of those books was Return to the Cave of Time. It had great depth in each story.
Sad.. I have to remember to look for some on Amazon... for my kids when they are older Yeah my kids THAT's the ticket!
