No one had anything interesting in Randi in more than a month? (I was going to ask about Absolution last week, but decided I'd rather pay the majors for Monsterbane Axe.) I've got Silverfire Vial in mine this week, and I thought I saw it in a build someone posted recently, but I can't find it now. Has anyone used it? It's the only non-staff source of Inquisition Bolt.
I would take asmod's or armorbane over Silverfire Vial in almost any situation because you cannot build a specific build around silverfire - its too random. Unless you want to do a max silver build with Fey Silversmith I would not recomend it.
3 decent cards on a tokenless item, so definitely not bad. But I agree with BVD, does really tend to a focused build.
I had Bleneth's Skull and Final Sword last week which I instantly bought because they were no-brainers for me so I didn't ask about them here. This week is interesting though. Stuff that intrigue me are Bloodchopper and Chiro's Cursed Amulet. Thoughts?
Bloodchopper is an amazing chopping weapon. Combine it with Powered Slicing (and other All Out Attack items) and you have a gnome/monkey/slime reaper.
Hey all, just wondering if you guys had any opinions on the following items and if i should pick them up. The Softener seems great for high level pve. Not sure if Impeccability is worth the yellow token, never played with Ready To Strike Impeccability The Softener
I'd like to get my hands on Impeccability; Ready To Strike seems a godsend against war monkeys. Cushioning Armor is obviously good against heavy hitters like ogres, trees and trolls, but I feel Xek's Nanocarbon Plate is a good enough substitute for this purpose.
Bloodchopper is great. While Chiro is an improvement over Batnado, you're still paying a major to put Ancient Grudge in your deck. I'd save my money and token for Vampire Knight's Greaves.
How good is Focused Lycanthropy? What cards are "Werewolf cards"? Same question about Advanced Ethereality and "Spirit cards".
http://wiki.cardhuntria.com/wiki/Form Werewolf Form is excellent, while Spirit Form is not really liked by many. Read the cards they contain and evaluate them for yourself.
IMHO Howling Lycanthropy is better; it costs less in gold and requires only minor token to use. Also Howl can give you Lycanthropic Form. (or some other nifty werewolf card)
I'd say Howl is the worst card there, even worse than the negative traits Those are replaced immediately at least, and here you have to spend an action just to heal 2 and replace the card. Can you imagine doing that in battle? Did anybody try to build effective Werewolves?
I am not joking. Heal 2 on a warrior? It might be great if you can afford hiding somewhere and improving your hand, but warriors should fight. You heal 2, opponent strikes for 8, and you may be dead already.
That if you stay in range and if you have no other cards. And if you don't get your armor 3 on all except silver. I love that card. Either you move away or you tank the hit, heal 2 without a cleric is not useless. Also, most armor "heal" you for 2. Are those useless too?
