Focused Thinking Mokad's Reeking Skull and... uh... General Jelom's Helm number two? There's money only for one legendary to not go bankrupt, idk which one do I prioritize. But I think the order that I posted is pretty much correct.
@Lucky Dice: Unless you have a specific build in mind, Mokad's Reeking Skull seems more powerful and useful than Focused Thinker. *** RR is serving me two new legendaries again: Perfect Stoutness & Yancley's Boots. Other semi-interesting items are 2nd Hu La Houp's Vicious Circle, 2nd Nasrum's Moccasins, 2nd Zero G Combat Helm and 3rd Zoltan's Laser Scourge. I think, I'll buy just the new ones for my collection.
New to the whole thing and no idea of the items so far. I dont want to list my whole shop here, is there a "tier-list" or something somewhere?
It's kinda hard to specify the tier list, but if you're new you might want to type the legendaries' name into the search bar and look for a Daily Deal thread, where @peonprop has done tons of reviews on the legendary items.
So, after the Randimars Reset, i found a few things in mine that look interesting: Chartwell's Amulet Crazy Sal's Halberd Ewix's Evolving Ensemble Smoag's Bucket of Pitch Zoltan's Laser Scourge Dworia's Soulstone Petochl's Sword Note that ive only been playing for a few days, so i cant afford much (currently at 4.000 gold). While these all look fun / interesting, id only buy one if its actually useful.
I'd buy either Crazy Sal's Halberd or Ewix's Evolving Ensemble. (CSH has solid cards and EEE has two unique cards for Heavy Armor)
Welcome to CH and the forums, @Assassine! (You can that green sphere to make linkining to CH items to wiki easier. For cards, use the card button left to the green sphere. Just make sure, the item/card name is typed correctly.) There isn't a single item on your list, that I use regularly in my SP runs or constructed leagues (I don't really play ranked MP). So saving your gold for later is a good option too. If you want to buy something Crazy Sal's Halberd or Dworia's Soulstone would be my picks. Chartwell's Amulet: Quite good cards on a tokenless item, but you really want Firestorm or armor destruction (Armorbane Pendat) for SP and control (Asmod's Telekinetic Chain, Sensate's Ring) for MP, so don't buy this. However, if you ever see Chartwell's Ring, buy it immediately. Crazy Sal's Halberd: Fun, unique and quite strong. Provides trait cycling / deck thinning for warriors, so enables some interesting deck options. For SP (and usually on MP) you're better off using Double-edged Sword and Bejeweled Shortsword. Ewix's Evolving Ensemble: As j3st3ri pointed out, unique cards for Heavy Armor, but I haven't found use for it. Smoag's Bucket Of Pitch: One of the legendary options for dedicated burning wizard (Focused Pyromacy and as much of burning attacks as possible). Usually the major tokens are spent on the staves (Staff of a Million Embers, Barnum's Staff, Staff of Embers), so more versatile arcane item options are Avakiria's Cup / Wym's Fiery Bangle. If you have major token to spare Rantic's Orb Of Inner Fire is probably better, especially if you don't have any armor destruction on your other characters. Zoltan's Laser Scourge: Many consider this to be the best Laser Whip weapon, but again, you're usually better off using ITEM]Double-edged Sword[/ITEM] and Bejeweled Shortsword. Dworia's Soulstone: Quite acceptable Bleneth's Frenzy Tome substitution for 1/1/1 (Wizard/Priest/Warrior) builds. If you just want the Mass Frenzy, there are cheaper options: Incense Of Roiled Air & Shuddering Relic, for example. Petochl's Sword: There are better options for Sundering Strike, so again, stick with DES and BJSS.
I think I just need a sorted priority on this one: Wym's Lavastaff (would be 3rd) Azgul's Orb (would be 3rd) Bleneth's Frenzy Medallion (would be 2nd) Strongarm (would be 4th) Xochu's Icy Circlet (4th) for some... uh... Savage Curse + Unholy Wellspring + Cone of Cold shenanigans.
I currently have 2 Wym's Lavastaves. I've had good luck with Azgul's Orbs and have 7 of them, but zero Chartwell's Rings for some reason. (stupid RNG) The dream for me is to have 4 x Wym's Lavastaves and 8 x Azgul's Orbs; This way I'd have two ultimate Firestorm wizards for mid-level grinding. (third character is obviously Impenetrable Nimbus Priest) So, yeah, I'd buy those FS items.
a sucessful disorienting block is a cantrip door opener when you attempt high damage melee strategies, so yes, Laser Rapier has things to offer over other laser thrust weapons. Ofc the block also can keep casters at bay, even take them out of LoS for a round at best.
Some RR advice would be appreciated: I'm looking at multiple intriguing items and limited funds. I've got ~9k in treasures right now, not sure how much I can farm this week but let's assume I can get to 10k. I'm looking at: Bleneth's Skull Illusion Mordecai's Staff Of Magma Raging Battler (And St. Olf's Fiery Pike) [Note: 1st copies of each.] Is it worth it to throw everything at those 5? I'm leaning against getting Illusion, since I'm not sure I'd have a use for it right away, but is it too strong to pass up? Is Mordecai's worth it, considering I don't often farm high level SP levels with double majors, and I'm not sure how good Volcano is in MP? Should I have already purchased Bleneth's Skull without even bothering to post on the forum? Thanks!
Yes, yes, yes and yes! - especially since they are your 1st copies. Maybe not Illusion as much if you dont think you will use it anyway.
I only play SP and that in mind, I've bought 1 x Bleneth's Skull, 1x Raging Battler and 1 x Mordecai's Staff Of Magma. (I've found several St. Olf's Fiery PikeS, but it's definitely worth buying, since you don't have any of them yet) Out of those that I've bought, I could do without Mordecai's Staff Of Magma; IMHO Volcano is way too unpredictable and I prefer Firestorm. Oh, and Illusion is totally useless in SP.
So, sifting through my randimars before reset, theres still a couple of things where im unsure if theyre useful or not: Arcade's Amber Amulet Bloome's Barging Boots Robes Of Foz Superb Trickery Flashing Longspear Staff Of The Fire God would love to get some opinions on those.
