Have also to wait for 25 minutes. Have not thought about the issue of reconnecting. After an hout of playing I normally reconnect, since the web client or flash seems to spam my memory and is faster after a reconnect. May be I dont play until the steam run has been gone.
Just lost the chance to enter league cause a 30min waiting queued, any chage of a mod to remove 50 gold from my acc and give me 3 golden chests? (and if this continue we will need a bigger timer to join the league, guess evreyone trying to get in time cause a even bigger queue) Also just now when i was going to enter after all the waiting it did say it got disconnect before i even got the change to chose multiplayer or singleplay/campaign and rebegin the 30min wait again...
Not getting into the league is frusting, that is true. Guess the next times I have to login an hour before the registration for leagues ends...
Yeah, I just got a 30 minute queue... ouch. Hopefully they will update the servers ASAP! I suspect it will get even worse on the weekend.
My wait time is over now, but it's stuck forever in loading circle thing, the options for multiplayer or single-play/campaign does not show up.... So, yeah Obernoob i guess it's impossible to connect now even after waiting, was anyone able to connect ? (mine did fail 2 x already, 1 hr waiting...) Also can confirm the lag problem people was talk in 1 page of this topic, did feel it yesterday. Did look at steam forum people are staring to complain about the queue there, hope that does not ruin the "first impression" of the game, cause till now is was been great (reviews and all).
Ok so I spent 25 mins waiting to log in, and now I am in the loading screen to enter the chest area for 10 mins. FUN TIMES
It probably will, and I am afraid that the older players wont be able to play either, because of the "20 min wait to log in and lagging game when you do" Thats what I am afraid will happen to me.
So the lag has made the game almost unplayable this morning. I lost a game due to "inactivity timeout" when I was clearly here and clicking on the screen. Here's an idea: how about give "priority" in the server to registered, paid users? If you area paid-for user of the game, you get put ahead in the queue, and the server prioritizes traffic to your account. This way, on laggy days like this, we who actually financially support Blue Manchu don't lose out to all of the free users who are just testing the game out for a few days on Steam.
Unfortunately, that means that Card Hunter would pretty much become a "pay to play" game which (as far as I know) the dev's dont want.
I wonder why the servers are not scaling. As far as I understood, they use Amazon for hosting cardhunter and Amazon should have the abbility to scale for much more users than that few.
I'm in, but the game just completely froze up for me while trying to play a move card. Poor, overworked servers.
Suggestion to Dev/Mod/Adiminstrator, put a warning that server is overload on Steam Game page, that normaly there not queue to enter the game or lag, and that you are fixing the problem, adding more server, etc....
