Miss LeisureSuitLoli might have already reported this, I don't know. However, sometimes, if I play a Devastating Blow and an armor triggers against it (and fails), then sometimes the damage increase isn't added. It's so random I can't screencap or do anything to prepare for it. Please, anyone else tell me if you've encountered this, so I know it's not just my head getting messed up by exams. Damage bonus from Devastating Blow is added before armor may reduce the damage (but after blocks and other reactions). Therefore, if an armor was not yet revealed when you attack, you do not get the extra damage (unlike with blocks and dodges). Maybe that is what confused you.
