I recently watched The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with a friend. We nearly walked out of the theater during the movie. If I can save one person from seeing this, our suffering wont have been in vain. The trailers for the movie were highly misleading: Rhino doesn't appear until the last moments of the film, Harry and Peter never have a conversation about "web" design, Peter isn't shadowed by Oscorp, etc. The majority of the film is about Gwen and Peter. Gwen should have been likable but she came off as annoying. Peter should have great knowledge in science but lo and behold he comes off as person who doesn't know what the hell he is doing. Poor Jamie Foxx, he does his best with the role but it couldn't save the character given the crap he has to put up with.
Hmm, but it does have a nice rating here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1872181/. I was planning to watch it. So most of the people seem to have liked it, maybe you are just an exception?
