there has been many many posts about card drawing decks on the forums so i'm not going to go into all the pros and cons. suggestion: draw 2 cards should match range of short perplexing ray which discards 2. each additional cards on hand beyond 5 will have encumber 1. let's use movement and range to balance having many cards since positioning and movement with the victory squares are key to winning the game. you can have lots of cards but you have to give up mobility. perfect for defending or brute force head to head engagement. it also plays up to the inherent racial advantages in the game, elf movement vs dwarf solid stoicism vs human versatility. humans will have the flexibility between card draws and movement based on the size of their hand. there's really no viable discard strategy to counter draw decks. why not use movement? my first post. please be gentle.
