While we are waiting with baited breath for a peek at the new expansion (and reminiscing about old school AD&D modules) perhaps you'd like to see what I spent last weekend working on? Our gaming group meets biweekly and next session will see the maiden voyage of this bad boy! Check it out.
Nice, @Getorix! And yes, the merge probably means that there'll be some expansion content in the next test build. Also, I can promise there are no vegepygmies in the expansion.
wtf, this is the most epic setup ever. well done @Getorix definitely post more pictures of your miniatures, even if you suck at taking them
Sounds like you'll be able to buy EttSC chests just like you can buy artifact chests, which would indicate a diversity of items necessary to support it. I'm excited to see new mechanics that hopefully upset the meta!
I do hope they start previewing the new content soon. Or at the very least officially announce something. Anything! Ofc, no pressure Blue Manchu
First, sweet gaming table Getorix! Second, yeah, I would be interested in balance changes. I was working on some suggestions, will post a thread for discussion if there is interest.
I assume we are going to see the new cards before they get released on live, but I was looking more at tweaking some old cards before even thinking about the new. I suppose it makes the most sense to try and work them together.
There's been zero discussion of balance changes to existing content throughout the EttSC process. If any users have balance concerns we'll listen to them as we always do, but that's pretty much a separate thing entirely.
Not to mention it doesn't make a lot of sense to touch balance with an expansion in the works until the new cards hit the tables and we see how that affects things.
Higher level items would do some really. . .interesting things to the meta. I look forward to it. /just keeping the speculation train on the tracks, woo woo
Really wish I could spoil some stuff. Our hope—not a guarantee—is that the aforementioned test build including (not final) EttSC content should be up before April.
