Bullet damage. Firearms are coming to Card Hunter. Prepare for some tactical wargaming goodness with degrading cover, opportunity fire and reloading times. Emotional damage. Taunts, slights and mudslinging now fray nerves until they *SNAP*. Reputation damage. Fight like a ninny and don't get any XP and experience higher shop prices and raised monster levels in adventures. Morale damage. Take enough of it and run to a map corner to sob.
Equipment damage! You'll now have to start repairing your items after battles to make sure they don't break. Broken items downgrade their cards! Blocks all become UnBlock, attacks all become Weak Strike, Armor cards become Rusted, your boots only get Shuffle, etc. This is why "a Helmet for every slot" will be important!

"Vanguard" and "Fleet" are terms that have something to do with the military. Priests getting Electrical card(s) and the concept of "Antimagic Skin" makes me wonder if this upcoming expansion will be along the lines of "military forces take over Cardhuntria" or "armed conflict arises". Also, something's telling me we're getting new cards and items in the Skill slots
Is that something 'hope'? Pretty sure that after a certain amount of time has passed, every game is legally required to release either a pirates or zombies expansion. 'Fleet' suggests CH is going with pirates
I doubt I can give you an air date this month, but I'm pretty sure that we'll start playtesting content (maybe limited/private) later this month, so that's exciting right?

Each card actually creates two copies of the new card, "Acid Jet!", which is identical to Acid Jet except it has Mandatory Action and Cantrip.
