Yikes! Need to convert league chests to purple. And anvil strike can be buffed by surestrike blessing?
The last time I came into this thread with official info I got booed out for impeding the wildness of the speculation. So instead of saying anything concrete here, or even linking to any other thread, I'll just say that there's some AI details out and about. Have fun finding them =)
OOOOH! The first official blog post about AotA was done 17 days before its launch. The first official blog post about EttSC was done 11 days before its launch. The first official blog post about CoC was done 5 days before its launch. The first official blog post about fourth class (Jeweler) was done 320+??? days before its launch. Since they didn't reveal the expansion name behind the AI acronym and didn't file the blog post under news, I will wildly speculate that AI is coming out soon(ish or later). *** Let's talk about the actual sneak peek. The monsters revealed are Tombstone and Phylactery (from Wikipedia: "An object used by a lich to contain its soul and protect it from death, common in fantasy games"). Both monster figures and one of the three cards revealed contain a skull: I will wildly speculate that the setting of AI is some kind of limbo or afterlife that the players must escape. Maybe afterlife is even on the expansion name.
Moar AI news from Rudolpho Emulio: AI 3 boards received some polish + mention about death markers. Monster AND player deck tweaks. So at least some AI adventures seem to be with fixed decks? AI boss buffs + quality upgrade for Negative Energy Being (gold to emerald), so it won't show up on QD. It seems Negative Energy Being is player card after all. Unholy Conduit to level 13. Is this the first leaked item name?
I speculate the adventures will be in the Citadel level range, so my wild guess is that it's an item.
New (AI?) dev build 3.107.0 Hard AI first pass. Quite hard. Not for the faint of heart! Hmm, what could this mean? AI card art fix & Trim unused AI cards This can mean only one thing. CH (and AI) is finally coming to smartphones and tablets, but they must first make the cards slimmer, so they fit better to small screens. Here's the "leaked" proof of concept of 50 % slimmer cards, seems legit:
Cunning ruse detected, well done though, I was halfway through a paragraph-long rant before I noticed the card text was off
Recent Twitter updates have mentioned bug fixes and new / updated figures.... BORING! Let's continue the wild speculation. @adajon claims to have cracked the AI acronym: Aubergine Issues! Could this be?! Powergamers have long wished for more powerful cards. When AAA (Acid Pool, Flatten, Super Team Heal, etc.) is not enough, enter the AI! Spoiler: This image goes to 18!
I googled aubergine expecting some purplish gems. I got pictures of eggplants instead. They are gems of sorts, I guess, if prepared by a good cook.
Lots of update commits on Twitter: Many fixes: adventure location display issues, Negative Energy Being duration display, AI 3.3 board, monster name & doodad error on AI 2.1. Some AI item renames & card icon recolour. Something about data for new skill chits. New markers / counters / tokens for the game board? But what does skills have to do with them?! Signed vouchers / receipts / notes? Flavor text for flavorful cards. First aubergines and now this! Is BM force feeding us veggies? We have some edible treasures (Candied Gland, Manticore Pate, Slippogriff Caviar, Candy Nauticorn, Goblin Champagne, Smoked Nauticorn, Turkoise, Ghost Pop, Reindeer Steak, Frosted Cookie, Kobold Kandy, Pickled Herring, Side of Bacon), but now cards as well? Madness! Or do we get more items like Tasty, Tasty Staff? Some hints about AI hard mode: AI Hard module covers first pass & Made some AI 3.3 Hard mode monsters easier 1 HP quests weren't enough?! CoC meets regular adventures?
..... , your party is reduced to one health, you must use only dwarves and there must be no party deaths.
