@Flaxative, any words about the Expansion? You haven't mentioned it for quite some time ..

 

Did we ever get a clarification as to the expansion's name, or am I free to guess 'Expedition to the Sweets Chop', a rousing adventure into the depths of animate, bloodthirsty confectioneries and an overwhelming amount of bad puns?

 

I think "an overwhelming amount of bad puns" is pretty much a given, regardless of what exactly the new expansion turns out to be

 

The April Fool's joke is starting to chafe on me. I really want a 4th class, but all I ever see is a fake announcement.

Things move slowly here, but I just saw a draft cut of the expansion trailer, so I think Jon is getting ready to make some announcements.

 

One of the suggestions in this thread is frighteningly accurate.

So maybe it is time to recruit few additional developers. They are certainly needed.

Recruiting is easy. Paying can be tough.

In-game chat (unless I hallucinated the whole thing, it was quite late),
the devs clarified that the expansion wouldn't be released till after the Steam Summer Sale (which runs June 11 - June 20).
There were some other details they gave out, but I'm afraid I forgot them.
In any case, one month should work

 

You didnt hallucinate, devs said that -> expansion is finished, and they are waiting the right moment to release it on Steam ..

 

I'm just going to say it now: If I can link my account to steam, and this game gets hilarious or thematic trading cards, this will be the one single game on Steam I will actually keep the trading cards for ;P

On the flip side, achievements- which I also always ignore [though being fairly completionistic, I'd consider for the sake of completion for this game]- for this game would be potentially terrifying in what they demand [please don't make me play the Manticores, please!], so not quite as keen on that

 

Haven't seen any expansion-centric activity on the Twitter feed in over two weeks. I will wildly speculate that EttSC is (more or less) in its finished form, but that we won't see it (even on the test server) until later in the month.

EDIT: if it is confirmed to be finished, I swear I was speculating wildly without reading that post!

I'd play that.
