Mission: Max Usable

Here a quick update from me:
I completed level 4, 5, 6, 16 and 20. Level 1, 2, 3 and 8 (21) were already complete, as mentioned above. Now I miss a Caustic Ring for level 7 and a Dendrite Ring for level 9. For level 10 I still miss 2x Big Sticks, 3x Teak Horn and 3x Rod Falling Cinders.
Big highlight is finally my first Huetotl's Firebrand in this week Randis. Of course the Asmod's Chain in the Daily Deal was also a big highlight. A big disappointment was my first The Softener. It is not as good as I thought it would be.

Quick update: I completed lvl 9 and do miss only a Caustic Ring and a Rod of Falling Cinders to complete my mission.

I'm still waiting on 1 Warp Crystal Gun to complete max usable, and have been for well over a month. (My other 2 accounts have been selling them as excess.)

 

Got max usable now for all Rare and lower in the game (well missing Traveler of the North and Storge's but all non-Aloyzo items).

Not going for max usable on Epics, just 3 of each.

 

The funny thing is I am close to 3 of all epics while grinding for the last rares. Guess you know you are playing too much Cardhunter, when your Sharl's holds more than one hundred epics.

 

I'm not sure on my Epics. I think I'm at 3 of all them already, but I haven't checked. I just know whenever I get an Epic that isn't maxed I keep it and whenever I see when in a store that isn't at 3 I buy one.

 

Just checked on my Epics. The only non-Aloyzo / non-Holiday epics I don't have at least 3 of is: Cybernetic Boots and Staff Of Pain (I have 2 of each). Will probably keep an eye out for them, but other than that I basically own everything in the game I want save for some Aloyzo items and a small handful of Legendaries I could use duplicates of.

 

Only the Caustic Ring is still missing.

My current goals are (a) completing the full set, and (b) max usable of epics. I'm at 81% for max epics, and still need 6 legendaries to complete the "one of" set. If I could buy them all in shops, it would cost 202k gp. I'm about 26k short, so I should hit the gold total in about a month. No telling how long it will take the actual items show up.

Funny thing is, that I had my ninth Blazing Short Sword a while ago and also my ninth Azgul's Orb. This twelth Caustic Ring was hidding himself very well.

So I have now to decide what is next. On the one hand it may be a thing to do the next levels. Since I also have level 11 completed, it may be time to get level 12 rares completness. On the other hand I am thinking about writing a cookbook and buying a new pan. The spice shelf needs some care as weel.

That are high goals. But having already 81% of the epics is crazy. And having so much gold. For you it must be even more frustrating to open an epic chest.

For me there are still too many good items, which I can buy and my amout of gold is staying low. Currently I am debatting whether to buy the eight Strongarm, the third Captain Cedrics Helmet and/or the third Flamewarper from Randis. How many of the Epics I have max usable wise, I may look up and post. Also the one ofs:



In the left image above you will find the percentage of one ofs and in the right one the maximum usable. Both is looking impressive and I dont know if I want to improve. Improving my knowledge of different recipes and my skill of making good sauces seems easier. And there is nothing as good as a fine béarnaise sauce.

 

Or just save chests until the next expansion and get a huge head start. I'm doing that... at 160 gold chests and 16 epic chests. I don't really play much any more except getting 1 win a day in MP and a loot fairy every few days to keep my gold up to do all the leagues.

 

I am doing that as well. At least for the gold chest of which I already have 952. The epic ones I open since I am still hoping for Cursed Radcannons.

I think I will do a little bit of farming in the level 12 adventures. This way I can complete the next level with max usable rares and also get my sixth Mindsplinter Staff, which I currently prefer to the Laser Blunderbuss for farming Into the Black Forest. Main point of this farming is to keep my gold up as well.
Beside I will start the cookbook. Found a nice Latex template for cookbooks.

Level 12:
4x Shadow Spear
5x Reliable Axe
1x Trident
3x Mirror of Melting
1x Redstone Pendant

Level 13:
2x Bluestone Pendant
2x Sizzling Chain

Today I found:
2x Mirror of Melting
1x Redstone Pendant

So I need now:
Level 12:
2x Shadow Spear
5x Reliable Axe
1x Trident
1x Mirror of Melting

If you have that many gold chests you might just want to open them to finish max usable. Also, you can buy commons / uncommons from the shop to fill out missing max usable.

 

I could do that. But since I am farming for the rares, I will find the commons and uncommons for sure.

I am only one Reliable Axe away from completing level 12 and 13. Unfortunatly no Mindsplinter Staff until now.

I am not sure, what to do after that. There are no easy speed farming adventures after level 12. I had some success with Laser Blunderbuss and Mindsplinter Staff in "Into the Black Forest". That team could also be successfull at "Lord Batford's Manor". I might try that, but I think it will be way slower than the normal Misanthrops in the lower adventures before.

 

Do you have a spreadsheet or something you can share for this? I'm also going for max useable and am also quite far (almost completely done with common, uncommon and rares)
