Mission: Max Usable

wHich brings me back to the topic. Farming the SP.

Highlights were a Czint's Buckler (man, that guy must have a had a rough time in school) and Quinn's Buckler. Beside that there were a few epics I had not maxx usable of. Not so much going on.



Since I have level 8 commons, uncommons and rares max usable complete, there is nothing going on. For level 7 i only miss 8x Caustic Rings, so this will stagnate also. It is hard to tell, how level 9 will develop, because the tool shows only two rares, which I am missing, but there are 62 hidden items. It may be time to go on to higher levels and farm from level 8 to 12 for example.

 

Highlights in the last two days are my first Gold Thread Toupee, my second Garlem Boots and my second Highbolt Jerkin. My fourth Flax's Thirsty Vial is cool, but the other epics were dissapointing.

That may actually be an item I can use on higher level farming priest. Allthough I use the priest currently only in AotA and I wont farm there unless someone else found the loot fairy in one of that adventures. And even then I sometimes pass the chance to get the loot fairy. And there is still Tome Of The Martyr and Shielding Token which should be preferable. But I may try one.

 

Could anyone post which items are included in the Promo Set and which in the Undroppable Set which are mentioned in the Neoncat's collection analysis tool?

 

You can use the mouseover function of the tool to get (most of) that info. Just leave the mouse hanging over the relevant bar, and a couple of seconds later, a bunch of relevant info pops up.

 

It only shows a small sampling if the list is large. Wish there was a way to see all of them. There might be but I haven't figured that one out yet. Maybe in the page source after analyzing or something?

If i am not that wrong, i see that the Promo Set includes the items from the Halloween and Winter shops. As for the Undroppable Set, the only items that i know are Goldleaf Blade and Demon Skull Snuffbox. Anyone knows what's the deal with the rest?

 

Neither the Promo, nor the Undroppable set are excessively large as I remember.

Thinking about it, the promo sets are probably easier to look at on the wiki: just look for the two entries under "Collector's Items" on the front page.

 

I know, just speaking in general for those trying to get Max Usable for large sets.

It is dynamically created, isnt it? But it would be a nice feature. I would love beeing able to save the items I need together with their amount (in case of max usable) as text file.

 

Updated List of missing Max Usable Rares: (Daily Deal *finally* had a freakin' Hurricane Stone)

3x Mutation Cube (R19)
1x Warp Crystal Gun (R18)
2x Confusotron 500 (R18)
1x Kolt 45 (R19)

Will probably start saving chests now save for EttSC reward chests. Might open the others if I get low on gold and want to splurge on a legendary, but it seems like I have almost everything I want minus a few new AA stuff or random legendaries here and there.

 

I pawned a bunch of epic treasures in order to buy my first copy of Mordecai's Staff Of Magma, which made a small dent in my numbers, but as it should aid my higher-level farming, I hope will be worth it. Besides, how hard will it be to either get new copies of those epics, or farm the gold to buy them back?

Talking of farming, I'm kinda dismayed by just how many C1 items I'm still missing after goodness knows how many times I've run through the Lvl2-4 modules, selling pretty much everything I get because I have max usable of them. I mean, how many times can I go through them and yet still have gaping holes in my collection?

 

C1 items are harder to find now due to the removal of the first level after you complete it. I just bought all my common/uncommons from the shops to get max usable. The rares are the hard stuff to find since you can't buy them on a regular basis.

 

I never happend to have problems with common items. There are only a few uncommons, like the Vicious Locket which caused problems, otherwise I am fine. But I am also farming a little bit too much.

 

Updated List of missing Max Usable Rares: (Finished "Power Mace" and got a few more other stuff). I've been updating my list above to cross them off, but figured I'd post a new list when I finished some off.

2x Confusotron 500 (R18)

EDIT: Finished off Mutation Cube pretty quickly. Just a few left now.

EDIT 2: Finally finished the Kolt. Now just 3 left.
EDIT 3: Same day I found the Warp Crystal Gun I needed.

 

Just need 2 "Confusotron 500" items and I'm max usable for all Rare and lower again. Someone ping me if it pops up in the Daily Deal. =)
