The tracker is currently being quite persistently trolled. (Reset to Raid on Ommlet, others marked as confirmed absent.) Please use the forum until Flax bans people.
Can't you get good findings with using Neoncat's post time and earlier and "Raid on Ommlet" repeatedly set to "Confirmed Present" as the search values? How many hits can there be ?
Yes, I posted at the time it was happening (Jun 8, 4:00-4:20 UTC). I reset the tracker twice after it was marked as "confirmed present" at Raid on Ommlet and "confirmed absent" everywhere else. The second time, I reset the tracker as the troll had gotten down to about the level 12-13 quests, and there was still a little bit of useful data at the bottom. After the second reset, the fairy was immediately (within a minute) marked as "confirmed present" at Cardstock II. Then I made an announcement in MP Lobby and here.
Just wanted to make sure neoncat was talking about the present as opposed to a few days ago. I'll take a look at my logs.
Alright, looked at the logs, indeed looks like trolling. All the false reports came from the same IP. I'm going to be super nice and check with you guys: is 82.4.164.4 any of you? Was it a mistake? If I don't hear back before the next reset I am banning that IP.
How on earth could anything like that be a mistake? I like how considerate you are and all but I think in this case you're letting being nice overshadow common sense by a large margin. Deliberately setting it repeatedly even after correction by others and to several different adventures, can't be anything else than trolling. The threshold of banning some suspect IP should not be high at all. After all, if it was innocent, they can always ask you to free it on the forum or PM, no harm done. It should be no biggie. This is not that official a deal .
Thank you, Flaxative! I hope this discourages the culprit. You might well have to repeat the exercise if they're determined enough to continue the vandalism from their place of work / study / friend's house. I'd keep a special eye out for a while for entries coming from the same geographical area (not necessarily the same service provider, although that is possible). But I'm sure you're well aware of these issues, you must be plenty experienced with them given your line of work (and much more experienced than me in any case).
