Now that I've played and beaten CM (using my beginning adventuring party of human warrior, dwarf wizard, and human holy priest), I can say, 1. I still don't understand what you meant by "due to both how hard they are and how buried they are" (emp. mine), and 2. yeah, I've no problem with the Loot Fairy showing up there to be consistent with his showing up in Acq Inc and other difficult adventures. However, I continue to concur with other players that certain adventures (such as those explicitly telling the player "this is hard!") could be more satisfying via being more rewarding (and therefore also more likely to garner players for co-op) much like how the endurance adventures featuring six battles give more rewards. To expand on what I said in an earlier post, sometimes I've skipped LF at AI (despite enjoying AI) -- and I could see myself eventually skipping CM sometimes, too (despite enjoying it) -- because I knew the effort to even find a willing and able teammate, let alone run through it, let alone try to double-dip it, didn't -- and wouldn't -- always feel worth the Fairy's usual nice blessings. TL;DR if LF at AI etc., then LF at CM, too, please $:^ ] some more adventures could slightly increase the rewards, too, please? $:^ }
I'd prefer that Loot Fairy would only appear in the main campaign. That said, businesswise it's a good idea for BM to make Loot Fairy appear in every adventures. (gives players similar incentive as Club Membership to spend Pizza Slices to maximize their treasure gain)

Yeah, Loot Fairy stays at one place for 25 hours. Loot Fairy Tracker is a good way to check when (and where) he has moved.
