I've been mostly avoiding the kobold mines since the Firestorm nerf and giving the lungers armor. And I've been playing Scales a lot because I'm missing a lot of level 12 items. Scales #2: 12 U heavy armor, 11 U arcane skill, 13 R weapon, 10 L boots, (12 E divine armor) Star #1: 5 U boots, 3 U robes, 6 E divine item, 7 E elf skill, (3 R divine armor) Kelharin's Clogs, (Blessed Mail), Badjeera's Black Relic, Untrained Footwork

Gratz Drakkan! That's an AWESOME drop! Giving Lungers armor was mean, but it did smooth the difficulty jump from 6 to 7. I still FS farm the mines on my daily run. I've been farming Tvericus for L12, but I think I'll give Scales another shot to see how it goes. I've never liked that module, and cut it out of my daily runs after some of the nerfs. Tweaking up a new build for it probably wouldn't hurt, though. Edit: For speed farming, the first 2 maps of scales go in 1 or 2 rounds, but the hydra takes some time-consuming whittling. Probably better than Tvericus for grinding. p.s. Got minimums at the 2nd White Star too.

You should give it a try.. it's an easy map even with FS nerf.. things that helped me - 2 volcanoes on each wizard (either Wym or Magma scepters)+ Bertha's Big Clogs.. And the biggest annoyance was lvl3 of that map .. where priest doesnt go into FS range .. bug now I use Greenspark Staffs on each wizard.. and after FS clearing I finish him with direct attacks.. I've posted my build somewhere on the forum..
