The only way at the moment is to register a new account or ask for your account to be reset. I can handle a small number of manual resets - send me a PM with your username and email.
You aren't locked into your character choices. Shortly after the tutorials you can recruit more level 1 adventurers for 10 gold each. You can swap them in and out at the Keep on the Hinterlands. They should quickly catch up to the level of the other characters in the party.
