Somehow my warrior died to mindless battlerage even though he was enveloped in inpenatrable nimbus. I know it was still in effect too because I had just tried zombify on him right before that and it prevented the samage from that...
There is the cause of your problem: your warrior received 3 different attachments after the Impenetrable Nimbus, so the nimbus was pushed off. (Spark Of Undeath giving two attachments after dealing the damage) Edit: I just saw that you have already been answered in another thread.
