How to enable narration on 2nd+ playthroughs?

The narration (gary, melvin, pizza girl) is my favorite part of the game, but it seems to only play the first time I do each dungeon. That really discourages me from repeating dungeons. I looked for an option to enable narration on all playthroughs in the game, but didn't see such an option. Is there any way I can do this? Could this option be added if it doesn't exist?

It's been asked for before, and deserves to be asked for again.
And eventually implemented.

You can't do anything in the game, but if you want you can read the master file:

If you've been playing a while and remember the old storyline, you'll notice a lot of changes in the new file.

 

All the more reason to add a "reset narrative" option!

 

If you want to experience the revised story, you can create another account. It's not ideal but it's a workaround for those who can't wait for developer action on this issue.

The game is fun enough and the story good enough to warrant another playthrough even when the new items you get won't benefit your old account. Also, as you'll be starting from scratch all the low-level adventures will be exciting again. Having to deal with a very limited inventory again will also help break you out of any tactical ruts you might have settled into.

 

I did that, for those reasons.
