My buddy just got into this beta and I want to duel him specifically. Unfortunately, when I create a casual game and invite him only my characters are shown. Is this a glitch, or, as I just thought of it now, a result of him not having a starter party?
Yeah that was it. So if you play a multiplayer game with no party you will join the game still. You just won't have a party to play with, forcing you to pass every turn. There should be a simple check to ensure you have a party set before you join a multiplayer game. It's probably a rare instance, but it could save some support question in the future, and would probably be pretty simple to implement.
