Hey everybody! How are you doing?
    I'm great! Thanks for asking!

Anyways, I am brand new to Card Hunter and I am eager to learn as much as I can about the game. I have searched the forums and I can't seem to find any beginner guides... I am sure they exist, but where. It would be awesome if there were beginner guides in a centralized location on this forum.

Anyways, point me to what you can and discuss the possibility of a guide place. (It well may be that I just haven't found it, and I am dumb... But try to be gentle when pointing out my stupidity).

    Anyways, chow for now,
    Skipio

Since you're not specific what kind of guide you're looking for (tactics, gear, rules et c), I'll point you to the wiki, which is the best general source of card hunter intel. I suspect you've already seen Melvin's guide? Otherwise feel free to ask, the community in general is usually very quick to help out.

    Welcome to Card Hunter!

It's also interesting to experiment on your own ;) Just don't sell any of your items and you will be fine :)

    General advice:
    1. This is a collectible game, don't sell anything unless you're certain you have too many. You can use @neoncat's utility to get a list of excess items (for you it'll probably just be duplicate treasures).
    2. This is a strategy game, you'll need to adapt your party to take advantage of enemies' weaknesses and counter their strengths.
    3. Positioning is extremely important, often your best action on the first turn will be to pass so the AI wastes its moves getting close to you.

If there's a specific dungeon causing you problems, check if there are any threads about it in the strategy forum:

If not, go ahead and start your own thread. This game is very situational; a card that is super powerful on some maps can be useless or actively harmful on others.
