Hey guys/girls, I played beta a lot, and was hoping to play more when the game was officially released. Im having problems with this! After i defeated the intro dragon, and the game takes you to the pub/inn to build a party, the game won't move forward. I was under the impression that it was free to play, but it seems like i have to buy pizza to move forward?? Same with multiplayer as well.... any suggestions? or did i just do it wrong? EDIT: just tried again... i have already recruited three party members, but the game wont let me start any adventures, just takes me back to the map where there is nothing except the orc's head tavern. In order for me to recruit another party member, i have to spend gold (which i dont have cause i havent played a single game yet)
Not sure what the problem might be. I was able to continue on with the game without buying any pizza. Are you sure you recruited your third unit? And have you visited every non-battle location that has opened up, like the shops and the Keep? Those are the only things I can think of that might be tripping you up. What is open on the world map?
No, the game is F2P - it looks like there's some launch issues - probably related to amount of people playing at once. Server restart will hopefully help, or they'll have to hotfix if there's something wrong. I'm thinking database access is getting hammered with the amont of players. Making the game miss certain information that is required to make the game prompts continue et c.
the only thing open on the world map is the orc' head tavern at this point .. just keeps asking me to recruit more party members, but i already have three... and i have no pizza or gold. Cant play multiplayer either
If that doesn't help (and you haven't bought any pizza on your current account), I'd suggest creating a new one if you can't progress past that point. Unless you're fond of your current username and really want to wait.
Moving to Support and asking the devs to see what might be going on. Is your username the same as it is on the forums?
