Similar strategy is working excellent when questing on astral maps.

It is much easier to complete these maps trying to use mob attacks against each other then to run away and kill them by good positioning. Just stack nimbus, blocks, armours or jump backs and other escape blocks and run between them (healing also needed). Also for soloquesting this was the only solution that worked for me.
