Game won, stealing two stars

map: Morvin's Aquifer of Effluence

Had four stars. My opponent made a killing blow to one of my characters. Then before a report of how much damage had been done appeared in the message box, I unexpectedly won. My guess is that the stars instead of going to my opponent went to me, but I am not sure.

Did you have festering guts or mad dog on that character?

My first guess would be that your opponent resigned right after he attacked. Did you ask him?
