In handicap card only mode, I laid down these illusion squares. The bot on the right (2A, as labeled in battle log) tried to scan. It successfully scanned my dwarf, even though the dwarf is clearly outside its line of sight (shown in the picture). Pretty sure this is a bug. Illusion squares only stop targeted attacks. When bots scan they use a cone attack, which is not stopped by illusion squares.
