Do all adventures give the same XP?

If I complete an adventure with 2 battles, does it give the same as 3-4 battles?

 

Yes, XP is based on your level vs adventure level, not the number of maps.

Char Level - Adventure Level
-2 : 20 XP
-1 : 15 XP
0 : 10 XP
1 : 4 XP
2 : 1 XP
3+ : 0 XP

 

So better to level up on shorter adventures if trying to get lower level characters to catch up to a higher one? I have a 13 and bought two 10s I want them to catch up...

 

More maps means more loot, so I'd look at the time each module takes rather than size.

Yes it does. Half XP, and only minor chests.
