Could we be told the XP gain numerically, not just shown it by animation?

    That is a question about pacing for the devs but unless I'm mistaken right now its set up so you have 2 adventures per level and then you level up and get 2 more. Seams fine to me but it does make things like gear block or too hard adventures terrible as it stops you for a entire day.

    Can you not run from an adventure that is going poorly and redo it?

    I agree that the amount of grinding is more a question for the devs about how they want their game to play. I did have the usual trouble with trogs on Day 1. Yet on Day 2 I found the trogs quite beatable and I've made steady progress since. That tells me, for one player's experience anyway, the pace of the game is actually pretty close to the sweet spot.

    Yes, I agree totally. There's always options to get around the sticking points. The Trog Problem was fixed by getting more XP and loot from the 'higher level' modules and then coming back. I'm spending time just trying out the different challenges and changing parties / gear rather than blasting through the content, which is probably how I'd do it in 'real life'.
