As you wish: Holy Armor - Holy Mail | Same name pretty much Color? What do you even mean by that? Armor 1 - Armor 2 | So you added 1 armour Roll 4+ - Roll 4+ | Same thing When this Armor prevents damage, all allies (including you) Heal 1. - When this card prevents damage, all allies, including you, Heal 2. | So you added 1 HP Changing the name slightly, adding 1 armor and health doesnt make it a new card. Way too op for a paper card. Mythril is always said to be VERY light and VERY strong... this is incorrect AND this would be discarded as soon as it is possible. This I actually like, like a lesser version of Horned Plates
Vampirism Duration 3 Trait Emerald Quality Desc: When deal damage, heal yourself that amount of health. Flavour Text: ~ Vampire Scroll Priest Skill Legendary x1 Vampirism | x2 Talented Healer
So if for instance, a character with Vampirism plays Barge, they will heal 5, unless some damage is blocked by armor. If a character with Vampirism plays Spear Of Darkness, they will heal 4, then 4 again so 8 in total, if the other character blocks it with some armour for instance Mail, then heal 2 then 2 again, so 4 in total.
Vampire Scroll doesn't have that rarity, if Vampirism is Rare then the rarity of this would be Rare. (Level 24 of course)
@BlackVoidDeath: Going from the top down... Color = Background Card Color [Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Black, Purple, Gray, White]. Probably should state that clearer, you're right. I never stated the quality of any card; as I previously stated, I think that's best left to the BM staff, Finally, these... ....are nearly identical, and yet they're very different cards with VERY different reputations. Bad call, sir. Mythril Mail's name has been changed to Silver Mail, thanks for the clarification. Oh, and Silver Mail has no dice. Look again. and thanks for your judgment on Chain Armor. Whew.
Organized Memory: Trait. Attach to yourself, duration 3. This character may reorder his hand after drawing cards. Suggested as a Bronze=(3, C) card Boost. Itemization note: Human Skill only. (So at the start of each round also after getting inspired etc) (reordering the hand is useful for cards like Savage Curse, Wild Run, Cushion(you want cushion to go before regular armor) etc)
I do like the idea of an upgraded Holy Armor. But maybe this? Holy Platemail (Rare?, Gold-) Armor 2, Roll 4+, Keep. When this Armor prevents damage, all allies (including you) heal 2. When this Armor prevents no damage, put a Minor Heal into your hand. Or this? Holy Platemail (Rare?, Gold-) Armor 2, Roll 4+, Keep. When this Armor prevents damage, all allies (including you) heal 2. Increase damage prevented by this Armor by 2 to Unholy damage.
Your armor idea isn't very useful because it doesn't actually give any information for making the card, other than the power level of it(holy armor) which isn't helpful without a rating suggested. Though guessing rarities would be pretty much guessing.
I like to count starting from black=(E or -3). This Holy Mail should be about gold= which is 12 rating above black compared to Holy Armor which is 6. I think the Holy Platemail(second one) should be Silver=(B or 6).
@timeracers: Guessing a card's Quality is pretty much guesstimation and/or personal preference, as well. I personally think that any card that has the possibility of doing 18 damage to your teammates is a Black Quality card, but, BM has rated Festering Guts as an Amethyst now that it can be put into a deck at will; go figure. x) Oh, and another Armor idea: Collapsing Mail Armor 5. If this card blocks damage, create a Collapsing Armor card and put it in your hand before discarding it. Collapsing Armor Armor 4. If this card blocks damage, create a Collapsing Plates card and put it in your hand before discarding it. Collapsing Plates Armor 3. If this card blocks damage, create a Collapsing Harness card and put it in your hand before discarding it. Collapsing Harness Armor 2. If this card blocks damage, create a Leather Harness card and put it in your hand before discarding it.
Are you saying volcano is useless, why do I hear so many people complain it is OP then? The rating of the card should reflect or almost reflect how powerful the card is. In fact a lot of cards are too powerful for their quality and nerfs are being suggested for them, but for rarity no one will debate it as they have no ground to debate on. I suggest rating your cards based on a few select cards, like parry(that is a standard that BM uses). If you think it is merely guessing then don't suggest the idea in the first place because that idea is already in the game(holy armor).
@timeracers: Precisely why I'm preferring to leave Quality ratings for my suggestions to BM, since they would likely know what is more OP in their game that they've been working on for at least 2 years than some yahoo [me] who's only been playing it for barely 4 months. Also, I never said that Volcano was useless, nor Festering Guts, for that matter. I do believe that both are horrendously overrated in the Quality department. Though, again, that's BM's call, not mine, as it's their game, not mine. Also, That last sentence? Just as I told @BlackVoidDeath, these... ....are nearly identical, and yet they're very different cards with VERY different reputations. If ideas are made that sound similar to these or Heal or Simple Strike, it doesn't mean that they shouldn't be suggested at all. Don't be like that.
yeah the reputation difference is that one is trash and the other isn't, and that's because of their ratings.
So I should suggest a 1 damage 1 range attack, 7 damage, 9 damage, 10 damage, 12 damage, 14 damage, 15 damage, 16 damage. And for 2 range attacks: 1 damage, 2 damage, 5 damage, 7 damage, 9 damage, 10 damage, 11 damage, 12 damage, 13 damage. So what is the point of this again? they are the same basic card, they just have their numbers slightly changed.
@timeracers: The point is to show off your good/different/extraordinary/alternative ideas. If you wanna show off your 1-damage, 1-range card idea, please feel free. I'm not trying to stop you; you can suggest what you feel like suggesting. While I know I have the right to tell you what I think, just like you do, I do NOT have the right to tell you not to suggest something just because it SEEMS similar to something else. Speaking of suggestions: Slap Attack card. Damage: 1. Range: 1. This card does not count against your hand limit at the end of the round. "High five!" - origin unknown.
