Change to "If this armor prevents damage from a (melee) attack, the attacker discards their oldest attack card."
I think @BlackVoidDeath s suggestion gets more at the idea behind the card than my wording. I'm trying to imagine what would happen if one were attacking the mutant known as "Colossus" . Ones' weapons would become blunt and useless. Another more powerful idea would be to have armor that grants immunity to melee attacks. It would perhaps need a weakness though...
Indeed, but if you bit him in the wrong place (penetrating attack - which bypasses the armor) the weapon would not become blunt and useless. Spoiler: Deadpool spoiler Did you not see colossus getting punched in the groin in deadpool? Armor 10 vs melee?
This seems much more likely, to me. I imagine the spark coming off of attacking the skin to blind the attacker. This had been shown in comics, as well.

Greater magnetism Attack -magic electrical Amethyst quality Affects all characters within 3 squares that you can see discard all melee attack cards and armor cards. Note: this would also affect allies. I was thinking these would be monster only cards.

I propose a new card and a place for it, in the vampire form cards. It would replace the confusing Consuming Touch. This would allow Exploiting Bite Silver Quality Range 1. Damage 2. melee piercing Draw a Card. (I suggest the above art be used. Should it be 3 or 4 damage instead?)

There is a threshold for that amount and it is already used by wounded block, there is no reason to change the wording.
Only an informative nitpick. $;^ J You kind of said it yourself: Impetuous Blast also draws by virtue of being a Trait. But yeah, I'd say Elvish Insight is your best example.
