    But you don't see that when you use just http?

    The game at that point is making a call to https://live-server.cardhunter.com/check_maintenance.jsp

    If it's saying the server is down, that means either the request failed to connect or it returned a status of 0 (which should only happen if the server is offline).

    Are you able to load that URL directly?

    No ! Http just work fine (Yeah it goes LIVE !!!!! :)

    Pointing on your live-server url just return this to me :

    <serverstatus><active>1</active></serverstatus>

    This means active so !

    Point directly on https://live.cardhunter.com/ is telling me checking server status then Card Hunter is currently down for maintenance. Please try again in a few minutes.

    Just tried now !

    Interesting. That must be because it's making an insecure call to check the server status from a secure page. What browser are you running?

    Firefox 23.0.1..

    But just tried with IE...same answer...perhaps my company network...but this seems weird. Played before in https without problem before reboot !

    always a pleasure to point on improvement ! This means no https for me until future build ;-) ! Right i can LIVE with this !!!

    and once again...thanks Blue Manchu for such great game and community !

    EDIT : Just tried home...other computer, other network, same country, same city of Paris but same symptoms...
