After the first battle of the jewel of alet zhav I opened my chest, then clicked take all and continue. The screen panned back up to the next map's introduction, and then I realized I'd forgotten to equip something so I hit "Modify party" to pan the screen back down. The battle! button was replaced with "try again" as if I had lost, even though it's clear by this picture that I won and got my loot. Clicking the "try again" simply caused the button to switch to "battle!", so aside from looking confusing there didn't seem to be any real problems, so probably a pretty low priority bug. Edit: I fiddled with this combination of button presses for other maps as well, and the same thing happened during each intermission.
Yep I've seen this before, assumed it was the result of "modify party" being a fairly new button (used to be you could only edit your party after failing or during loot collection, right?). Should definitely fix it to be less confusing though.
Something like that, yeah. It's pretty rare that I back myself up and edit the party's gear a second time, so I've not seen it do this until now. I get the impression it's probably a known issue among the devs, but better safe than sorry, especially if it's appearance is selective in some way. I'm not even sure it's technically a bug so much as just a mislabeled button. It's supposed to say "continue" or something at that point, isn't it?
This has been an issue since version 1.35. It makes it seem like the user just wasted a retry, so I'd say it's important enough to push for change.
