I'm not exactly sure if this is a bug or not, but let me explain what happened. I'm not currently a member of the Card Hunter Club, and Gary seems to like to keep reminding me of that fact, because once the adventures reset, so does this dialogue which triggers each time an Epic level item (i think) is locked behind the Club wall. I'm not sure if this is intentionally done to make players aware of the tantalizing item they could get and stop them from clicking through the loot screen too quickly or not. It only triggers once each day (again, I think. It's incredibly hard to reproduce this bug for obvious reasons), but I think it's worth mentioning at least.
Did you click on the Club icon (on the top of the screen) to look at the prices? That might make them stop bugging you about it.
I've actually been a club member a couple of times now, so yes, I've looked at the prices. They haven't stopped bugging me about it.
Do you mean this line from Melvin? "Sigh! I suppose it would be too much to expect that you youngsters have joined the Card Hunter Club yet."
