I spent $25 in beta for pizza and I can see it correctly converted over to Live. However, I read on the main page and in game that I should spend $25 to get the Basic Edition. So I did. However, then I read in the forums that you are giving beta players the 9 toons for free, and now that makes the $25 a really bad deal (better to buy other stuff for pizza). So, my request is that you refund the $25 for the Basic Edition (not likely) or you convert it all into pizza and just let me custom buy the monthly sub and the 'gold' scenario unlocks (preferred). I wouldn't normally complain about this since I love the game, but I do feel that I was misled with the Basic Edition. If you had planned on giving beta players the 9 toons for free, you should have at least sent us an email knowing that.
A question: did they e-mail you about the Basic Edition? If they did, then they DID e-mail you about the free figurines. I can say this because both were posted on the blog: http://www.cardhunter.com/2013/08/card-hunter-release - Basic Edition http://www.cardhunter.com/2013/09/free-figures-for-all-beta-pizza-purchases - Free Figurines I didn't sign up for any mailing list, though, so I don't know if they have been in the habit of e-mailing out their blog posts. I can only assume that these two posts were treated the same. I do know that the "Free Figurines" post is immediately visible on the blog, while the "Basic Edition" post is on the second page, so they've done what they can to keep current gamers aware of the freebie deal.
There were no e-mail sent out - the only ones ever sent out were signup notification and beta keys. However, the BE and the free figurines after that were announced in the game blog, on twitter and on facebook - so not sure how you can have heard about the BE but missed the addition for the old beta spenders. No matter that, hope it work out for you!
Hey Matt. Sorry to hear you're having problems. Let'c chat about this over PM. I'm sure there's a good solution.
The Basic Edition is being advertised in the Proclamations, so everyone sees it when they log in. My solution would be to add a box on the Buy Pizza screen showing how much money you've spent so far and what you got for that money (how much pizza, which free figures, the BE stuff).
I bought pizza during the beta but the extra 9 costumes don't seem to be unlocked for me. The beta pizza did transfer though.
