Context is for the weak.
(I have no idea what he's talking about either.)
It seems to me that what brings the most changes in the rankings is a new set of maps coming in the rotation (even if rankings seem bugged to me as CT5 is in the top ten). Each set of maps favors certain types of parties, going from 3DC to full damages warriors.
Now I have no certainlies, hence my post in the form of a question, but I wonder if it would make sense if the PvP champion of a season should be the one that could master the spirit of the new maps the most. Plus the time that a set of maps stay in the rotation seems to fit the lenght of a season.
Also, should rankings be reseted between each rotation? Or should we have two rankings working independatly, life time ranking and season ranking where only season ranking get reseted?
@Squidy - I almost never played more than 10 ranked games per week, which is why I usually didn't show up in the highest rated charts =P
Also, how would you characterize or define 'the spirit of the maps?'
For example, the winter maps have all in common wide open spaces. Understand my sentence as the one who can create the party that will work the best in the new set of maps.
Unsticked due to end of season.
