While CT5, Vholes, and I were peddling Lab Mayhem in the SF Bay Area we met Jim and Shane who were making Ameritocracy, a card game about running for president. We became friendly with them quickly and exchanged some playtest hours. The game is REALLY good, and very well designed. They've already raised most of their Kickstarter goal, but they're getting down to the wire. Your support could mean the difference between success and failure here. The game is short, and everything you need comes in the box. If it does well, there'll be an expansion focused on constructed play. Yeah, Ameritocracy is incredibly well done. We first tried out their game at an earlier stage in development and it was already amazing. It's only gotten better since. Ameritocracy takes about 5 minutes to learn, but is highly replayable, has plenty of strategy, and is simply tons of fun (lot of fun interactions between the cards!). Absolutely recommend.
