  1. I assume that what Flax meant by pushing it toward viability is to make it the new best item for that particular card while still remaining underpowered.

That was a bug. It should have been Epic. The algorithm has been corrected.

I used to think that too, but then AA4 happened which was the first set to add a Epic(if the think wasn't bugged) that doesn't have multiple rares.

Are any of my designs worth resubmitting?

Most days, idgaf what you all think, but I'm sick and am not feeling well enough to design much.

Think of this as me asking nicely for advice but with a migraine, stomach pain, and more condescension and derision than normal.

    Thanks for your time.

I think Satin Sit-In Zoot Suit is worth putting in again.

Sceptre of Linear Convulsion/ Lightning of Linear Convulsion - Level 21, (majortoken)(majortoken), Epic

I like the staffs and skill. I'm not so sure I like the helmet. Scampering heavy hitting dwarf warrior teams sounds scary.

@MathuranF and I were talking a while last night, and one thing we noticed about some 6 card items I thought was interesting was that a lot of the best/most interesting ones had cards in sets of 3/2/1. I've seen very little of that in this contest compared to all the 3/3 and 4/2 items, and it's a nice way of putting together an item that's both thematic and allows for the item's level to be tweaked up or down easily. Anyone else agree with me?

Examples that currently exist and I think are really cool (most of these are legendaries, but you could make a cheaper one easily):
Painful Flashstaff: 3x Flash Of Agony, 2x Punishing Bolt, 1x Obliterating Spark, Level 12
Staff Of Chask: 3x Punishing Bolt, 2x Pushback Parry, 1x Slowed, Level 8
Cursed Radcannon: 3x Radiation Bomb, 2x Unholy Energy, 1x Blind Rage, Level 18
Petochl's Sword: 3x Sundering Strike, 2x Feinting Strike. 1x Strong Hack, Level 18
The Lunginator: 3x Lunging Bash, 2x Unnerving Strike, 1x Mighty Hack, Level 16
Dangerous Club: 3x Unnerving Strike, 2x Able Bludgeon, 1x Backbiting Strike, Level 8

  13. Honestly does 6x Shifty Stab even have a prayer? It's certainly not OP but it's probably also not that exciting. I feel like it has to be tokenless to be even remotely playable and that's hard to do without making it too weak or too strong.

Shifty is often my pick in Qd. It is perfect for a Stab warrior. But I never see it in ranked. So it must be poorly itemised, and should be a top contender for this AA.

  15. Don't know if is a fact, because there are not many 4/2 items to compare with.
By other hand, maybe The Green Striper Rod could improve with a 3/2/1 format

    The Green Striper Rod (v.2)
[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Telekinesis is underused in staffs. Also, i think, improves the profit of the item. The bad thing is I don't know if suit with the name.
    Maybe another possible names:

    The Untouchable Green Striper Rod
    The Excited Green Striper Rod
    The Personal Green Striper Rod
    The Private Green Striper Rod
    The Elevated Green Striper Rod
    The Portable Green Striper Rod
Lift up The Green Striper Rod

Or Simple remain as The Green Striper Rod

I wouldn't exchange the acid jet to telekinesis because it doesn't drop the token cost of the staff(thus reducing the quality).

  17. Your point of view is great. Also Telekinesis will be used in the arcane items slot anyway.

I am actually a big fan of this item, it works very well thematically and is a fitting warrior item imo. Good job.

I don't think it appears on any other staves, but Dropped Guard might be a nice addition to your green stripper rod. That would drop it to lvl 10.5, a (minortoken)(minortoken). It's a risky play... But the theme is solid, and I like it way better than Telekinesis.

May I suggest replacing Telekinesis to either Stone Spikes or Subtle Parry. These both cards can be found on staves and would reduce the level to 12 / (minortoken)(minortoken)

When it comes to theme one could say that any staff can be used to block melee attacks if you have the talent and Stone Spikes could be something that the wizard has melted on the ground with acid.
