Can someone link to the podcasts? I need to research a good name for my item.

Just look up "Acquisitions Inc" and you'll find tons of info on it. They've been doing it for a long, long time.

 

Thanks, I was looking at the PA site instead. Does anyone have transcripts of these? It seems I'm a really bad listener, and could barely get through 10 minutes of one.

In particular, these are the questions I want answers for:

1. When Binwin brings the booze, what does he bring? Beer, Ale, Mead, Mulled Wine, or Deep-Fried Frozen Margaritas?
2. Is Binwin the sort to attack the closest char when surprised, even if it's an ally?
3. Does Binwin partake of the seven deadly sins whenever the opportunities arise?
4. What sort of treasures and rewards does the group typically find/receive? Is there anything silly that turned into a running gag?

 

I looked for some transcripts myself so I could easily search for ideas, but had no luck in finding anything. There are a few quotes here and there from their best moments, but that's about it. They did a comic for each of the podcasts with quotes, but that's about the most I've ever found.

 

To comment on your comments about the Quarter Pound Chopper with Cheese. The name and the steak icon is a parody of the Quarter Pound Whopper with Cheese from Burger King. If you ever ate one, you would feel like you ate some bad medicine and want to purge your system ( vomit )!

Secondly Bad Medicine used to be a player card but was changed to Curse of Fragility, so it was super rejected but Accelerate Time would actually make Bad Medicine useful again.

I submitted it since I was really curious if they would really try to give new life to unused cards or just pick items that more or less already have playable cards in game. I suspected they would play it conservative for this contest and sadly they really didn't give any rejected cards new life.

Thanks for doing your video, was nice to get some feedback from my first submission since they didn't do a video for it.

 

speaking of a video, I won't be doing it for AA 9 because I don't feel like gaining informations about the theme itself lol

This item will be a guaranteed drop from Mauve Manticore 16, which will release mid-month, at which time I'll be opening AA10.

 

At least I didn't notice any panning to one side.

Grats @Stexe! Interesting and very flavorful item. I'm still looking forward to a tokenless AA item, maybe someday.

 

I tried my worst, man. Uh, I mean best.

 

Tokenless human skill would be the AA grail, seems out of reach with Make Haste winning. But i like the item, sparks some ideas right away.

Yay... I won. I laughed when I clicked on the link to see the winner because I didn't think I had a chance. Spent a lot less time on this than other items :-P
