How does that even work?
So, a more traditional CCG 'build toward low deck size for certain builds' thing?
I assume there's no benefit to large deck size.

 

Even speaking as a person whose entry may well fall foul of some of the basic rules, I do find it quite astonishing that so many people have been not only marginally, but wholly outside, the competition rules.

Perhaps it would be better to reduce the number of winners accordingly? This month's challenge seems to have generated fewer entries than before, and much as I like the idea of expanding AA, introducing new cards and/or unbalanced items to multiplayer for the sake of it seems like a recipe for disaster. I'd rather see a high quality game with input where appropriate from the fans (as you're a great example of!), than a wholly inclusive shambles.

Just my 2 cents. Either way I'm looking forward to the post-competition critique - I enjoy hearing your thoughts!

 

It's ok to ask that ALL itens with lot's of "Like" votes (more that 15?) have a small comment (even if just to say that it no chosen cause OP or Boring or Break some rule, etc) in the video about the winners?

 

I don't have any fear, that Flax/Alyozo will craft any unbalanced items.

Also, AA #3 has ~120 entries so far, whereas AA #1 had 88 entries and AA #2 96.

It's depressing he's such a simple brute-force combat build.
A chef's hat would have been an awesome item.

 

Yeah, I don't think he's an interesting monster to build around. Note that warriors already have a lot of axes.

That being said, items made on human characters other than Melvelous of arguably Batford don't seem like they would be too interesting, regardless here's my take on one. I present you, the Arms at Men!

 

Amusing thing I noticed: all three of the AotA weapons would be huge fails for this contest. Riptide (Item) has two Unnerving Strike and no other cards from the monster (and Unnerving Strike isn't really what the monster is about). Whorl (Item) has one Mighty Spark and no other cards from the monster. Blackhammer straight up has zero cards from the monster. FAIL!
