So I saw that the League Schedule was updated again, and changed to leagues running every 9 hours instead of 5. This leads to a pattern of: Day 1: Midnight: Astral Tourney 9 AM: Triple Duel 6 PM: Monkey Magic Day 2: 3 AM: Golden Shrine Noon: Astral Tourney 9 PM: Triple Duel Day 3: 6 AM: Monkey Magic 3 PM: Golden Shrine (repeats) Let's say I want to play Golden Shrine. Since I'm not going to be awake at 3 AM, I can basically play it once every 3 days, as long as I'm not at work at 3 PM, which leaves the weekend. If the only weekend game happens at 3 AM, I'm out of luck. It is likely for someone to only be able to play that league once in a 2 week period! Depending on work schedules and time zones, it is entirely possible that someone could only be able to play 1 league every 3 days, excepting weekends when they could play certain leagues only. Clearly there was a reason it was changed from 5, but 9 is just a horrible number because the cycle is basically unchanging.
The schedule was adjusted in an attempt to improve participation. I still think the solution is not to reduce the frequency / rotation of leagues, but rather to cram them all into specific nights. That lets us players plan ahead if we want to participate, and doesn't spread out play over low-traffic nights where the league experience is going to be inferior no matter what the devs do .
Problem is that you can't please everyone. Most of the players can only play on week-ends but some can only during week days. And of course the game is global so you kinda need to cover all time zones.
